I have decided to open a brand new little shop especially for my most recent creations. It struck me as a sensible alternative to clogging the original Art&Ghosts outlet with a plethora of brand new images so startlingly out of kilter with my 'trademark' style....or at least the style that most of you are so accustomed to.
So! Please feel free to have a snoop around Little Ghost! I thought the name to be quite a sweet little alternative to the usual, although the shop itself is still in its most fledgling-est of stages, I do hope to add more goodies to it very soon!
And yet more newness:
.
Winter Hearts
The majority of these new pictures are hand drawn, painted or illustrated, then later composed in photoshop. This curious means to an end appears to be my preferred way of working at present. Having experienced the urge to temporarily veer away from using photographs or digitally drawn media as my 'base' selections, these recent works remain primarily a mixture of strictly traditional media, combined, at a later stage with digital; for example, taking elements of an original painting or drawing, then re-composing them on the digital canvas.
This does not signal a departure from the usual Art&Ghosts style by any means (as I have mentioned elsewhere), but more of a desire to experiment, play, and make use of my new obsessions.

Studious Nature
Oh so very me!
I adore this concept; nature behaving oddly.

We Remember
.
.
And we do remember, don't we? Our connection to nature, the dreams of our childhood, that secret, essential longing to make away with the fairies... or talking animals, who make their homes beneath mysterious, thorny hedgerows that nestle themselves, so appropriately, beneath the most obstinately looming trees.

Flying lessons, of course.
Notice the little guy in the background....unlike his more accomplished siblings, he cannot take to the air quite so naturally, hence the pointed cap that covers his poor little eyes. One can only hope that he will soon develop the ability to soar, perhaps even more so than his rather proud brothers and sisters.

Lena
Becoming nature, i guess;)

The Garden Helpers
Fun with horticulture, Cornish style.
